Christina Richardson, MA, LMFT

Counselor

Christina holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology with a Marriage and Family Emphasis from Santa Clara University. Before pursuing her MA, she worked with children and families in various settings for more than 5 years, and she has completed extensive coursework and training in child development, attachment, and family systems.

Christina cares deeply for her clients and each one’s individual story and experience. She works collaboratively with her clients to build on their strengths and support them as they grow to a place of mental and spiritual health.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Christina also views each client within the context of their relationships. God created us for relationship. As such, we cannot live and grow in a vacuum. The relationships in our lives have the capacity to bring immense joy and healing, but they can also bring pain and heartbreak. She utilizes evidence-based therapies to explore these relationships and build client skills as they grow in self-awareness. She creates a warm, empathic environment for clients to explore their experiences in a safe space.
