Katy is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor. She earned a B.A. from Palm Beach Atlantic University and M.Ed. from Florida Atlantic University. She completed her Master’s in Professional Counseling at Liberty University. Katy is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors.

Katy approaches counseling from a holistic perspective, taking into consideration the mental, emotional, physical and spiritual aspects of each client. She believes that a safe, therapeutic environment and strong rapport are critical to growth and healing. Katy considers counseling as a collaborative journey, respecting that the client is the expert of their own life. As such, she works together with her clients in developing goals that meet each client’s specific needs. Katy works with individuals and families using a strengths-based approach. Building upon a strong, theoretically based clinical foundation, she integrates Biblical and scriptural truths throughout the process.

Her areas of experience include anxiety, depression, grief and loss, women’s issues, abuse, relationship issues and life adjustments and transitions. Katy has a special interest in working with individuals who are struggling with pregnancy loss, including miscarriage and stillbirth, as well as issues with primary or secondary infertility.
