Cindy is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) with decades of multicultural experience globally. For 30 years, she has served as a missionary and church planter in Auckland, New Zealand, and Penang, Malaysia, as well as a minister to international and American students from various universities. As an international herself and a native of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, she has engaged people from all walks of life.

Cindy considers it an honor to be able to sit with, bear witness to, and partner with each client to help navigate life’s inevitable challenges and improve their emotional, mental, and spiritual health and their interpersonal relationships from a holistic and multidimensional perspective. She values the client-counselor relationship and places a premium on cultivating a compassionate, curious, and humble environment.

Cindy will work collaboratively with the client, navigating alongside them to understand issues, identify goals, and empower them on their healing journey and development. Nothing brings Cindy greater joy than witnessing a client gain a new perspective and renewed hope for their life situation and purpose. She will assist the client in customizing their specific needs and goals by employing effective psychotherapy techniques and biblical principles to bring out the client’s strengths.

Cindy enjoys working with adults of all life stages and from multicultural backgrounds. Her focus areas include anxiety, depression, trauma, grief/loss, life transitions, relational issues, church issues/hurts, re-entry from missionary work, spiritual (Christianity) issues, and interpersonal communication.

Cindy earned her Master Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regent University.
