Cameron has a special interest in working with children and teens.
As LifeCare’s newest intern, Cameron creates a comforting and safe environment to help clients make progress toward their goals. Cameron graduated with a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Meredith College. She is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling student in Regent University’s master’s program. Cameron is a member of the American Mental Health Counselors Association.
Cameron’s approach to counseling focuses on the central roles of relationships and belonging. She believes that exploration of family dynamics and spiritual development can serve as a preventative and healing panacea to mental health challenges. Cameron offers faith-based counseling, welcoming clients from all spiritual backgrounds. She is goal-oriented and practical in her provider-patient relationships, utilizing Adlerian techniques.
Cameron has completed course work in human growth and development, treatment planning, crisis intervention, multicultural counseling, and assessment techniques in her graduate program.
Cameron is eager for new experiences and opportunities through LifeCare Counseling, and she is thrilled to work alongside the Wake Forest team.
