Introducing a New Men’s Therapy Group in Raleigh: The Heart of a Warrior.
Men today are faced with countless challenges at home, at work, in relationships, in friendships, as husbands, or as fathers. Expectations can mount and emotions can become frayed. Each man struggles with life in his own way, so this group looks to help men become more settled in their own skin, no matter their role or struggle or situation. We hope to help men find peace and contentment that rises above whatever their struggle is to enable them to take on the challenges of life with strength and courage, but without anger or frustration or negative coping.
We look to help by walking through The Heart of a Warrior, a book by Michael Thompson of Zoweh Ministries in Durham, NC. We will spend 8 weeks journeying through the first half of the book and workbook to apply unique therapeutic insight into each man’s life, offering hope and encouragement as we go.
A start date and location will be set once we have the numbers to begin, but we will meet each Monday evening from 7:00 – 8:30PM. The cost will be $40/week (book/workbook included the first week).
