Building upon 18 years of professional youth ministry and pastoral experience, Jeremy has a wealth of professional and practical experience to offer adolescents and families in a clinical setting. Jeremy is a graduate of Wake Forest University with a Master of the Arts (MA) in Clinical Mental Health. He is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in the state of North Carolina.

Jeremy loves working with individuals, couples and families.  He provides the following therapeutic treatment for clients:

• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
• Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
• Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT, EFIT, EFFT)
• Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
• Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI)

Nothing gives Jeremy more joy or energy than deeply connecting with other human beings. He cherishes the privilege to rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep. He has a unique penchant for working with those who are grieving, or have been bereaved as well as those who are disabled.

Jeremy’s deepest conviction is that true healing only takes place in the presence of Jesus and is the result of the direct work of the Holy Spirit. There is no substitute. Another one of his deepest convictions is that all people, regardless of their race, creed, ethnicity, culture, abilities, limitations or socio-economic status possess an inherent dignity that deserves my full attention and respect.
