Emily Freeman (MSW, LCSW)
Christian Counseling for Children, Families, and Life Challenges in Raleigh & Online

Helping children, parents, and individuals find healing, restore balance, and grow in emotional and spiritual health.
About Emily
Emily is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been working with children and families for more than 20 years. She provides trauma informed counseling for both children and adults, helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges while working toward healing, stability, and growth.
Emily’s professional background includes work in child protective services, where she gained deep insight into the complex dynamics that affect children and families. Through this experience, she recognized that when a child is struggling, it is often connected to broader patterns within the family system. Because of this, Emily values working with both children and parents to help restore balance and strengthen relationships.
Emily approaches counseling with compassion and humility, creating a space where clients feel safe to explore difficult emotions, experiences, and obstacles. She believes that fear, insecurity, and shame can often become a hindrance to experiencing the full freedom and connection God desires. By addressing these barriers, clients can grow in deeper self-awareness, healthier relationships, and a stronger spiritual foundation.
Emily considers it a privilege to walk alongside individuals and families as they experience healing and transformation.
