Christian Counseling for Women, Families, and Life Transitions in Raleigh & Online

Creating a compassionate space for healing, growth, and meaningful change—emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

About Laura

Laura McEwen is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) with a Master’s degree in Counseling and over 16 years of experience in church ministry focused on children, missions, and care.

Laura’s years in ministry cultivated her compassion for others and her desire to walk alongside people through life’s challenges. Building on that foundation, her clinical training equips her with evidence-based skills to help clients navigate anxiety, depression, relationships, transitions, grief, trauma, and personal growth. She combines clinical expertise with a compassionate approach to create a therapeutic space where clients feel understood, gain insight, and work toward meaningful change.

Laura views counseling as a collaborative journey, partnering with clients as they take steps toward healing and personal growth in a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment.

She often integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. For clients who desire it, Laura thoughtfully incorporates biblical truths and prayer into the counseling process to support emotional and spiritual well-being
