Ebonee is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate who works with couples, families, and individuals 18+. She is intentional about creating a safe and welcoming environment. Her personality is calming, and her presence as a counselor is stable and consistent. She desires that clients leave each session feeling heard and understood, as well as motivated to continue their journey of holistic growth and healing.
As a therapist, Ebonee enjoys working collaboratively with clients. She views the client as the experts of their own stories and lived experiences. Ebonee uses techniques from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and is a certified Prepare Enrich facilitator. She believes every couple finds themselves in a negative cycle. They need help figuring out a positive, healthy cycle to engage instead. She helps clients process where they are in a space that is safe and non-judgmental.
Ebonee has a Master of Arts in Christian Marriage, Family, and Individual Counseling from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Education from North Carolina State University. She believes God has given her the gifts of encouragement and discernment. This enables her to be both caring, but direct. Ebonee can integrate theology and spirituality into the psychological practice when preferred by clients.
Ebonee believes change is possible. She would be honored to walk with you in your healing journey and looks forward to connecting when you’re ready to take the next step.
Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. 2 Corinthians 12:9
