Building upon 18 years of professional youth ministry and pastoral experience, I have accumulated more than one year clinical experience while practicing as an intern at Life Care Counseling and Coaching in Raleigh, NC. As such, I have a wealth of professional and practical experience to offer adolescents and families in a clinical setting. I have recently graduated from Wake Forest University with a Master of the Arts (MA) in Clinical Mental Health. I happy to announce that I am now a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and a licensed professional counselor associate (LPCA) in the state of North Carolina.
Nothing gives me more joy or energy than deeply connecting with other human beings. I cherish the privilege to rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep. I have a unique penchant for working with those who are grieving, or have been bereaved as well as those who are disabled.
My deepest conviction is that true healing only takes place in the presence of Jesus and is the result of the direct work of the Holy Spirit. There is no substitute. Another of my deepest convictions is that all people, regardless of their race, creed, ethnicity, culture, abilities, limitations or socio-economic status possess an inherent dignity that deserves my full attention and respect.
“In my distress I called upon the LORD; to my God I cried for help. From His temple He heard my voice, and my cry to Him reached His ears.” – Psalm 18:6
