Administrative Assistant Full-time

Job Description:

LifeCare Counseling and Coaching is a Counseling and Psychiatric practice consisting of multiple providers. We are primarily located at 1601 Jones Franklin Road, Suite 104, Raleigh, NC 27606 and a total of 6 locations. Our mission can be fully viewed on our website, https://lifecarecc.com.

Our administrative assistants are to perform the following duties:

  • Greet clients as they arrive with encouragement and understanding.
  • Inspect the client file for complete correctness, including all verified insurance information.
  • Collect payments and set up new appointments.
  • Answer phone calls and set up appointments for clients.
  • Support their office, the admin team and staff as needed.
  • Comply with HIPAA privacy regulations and ethical behavior.
  • Take the initiative to complete tasks that uphold and further the LifeCare mission.
  • Travel to other locations may be needed and additional of duties over time.

Requirements:

  • A heart for people in difficult circumstances during challenging times.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multi-task within time sensitive schedules and self-motivated.
  • Familiarity with computer systems and file management (Microsoft Office / Google Drive / Therapy Appointment Electronic Medical Record), and the ability to use office resources, i.e. fax, copier, alarm system, phone, scanning, video camera, and/or Zoom
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion with sensitive information.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Minimum education – Assoc. Degree or equivalent experience (Business focus preferred)
  • Basic Accounting/Bookkeeping knowledge a must. Will include cash management.
  • Valid North Carolina Driver’s License
  • Able to lift more than 40 lbs.
  • Maintain a professional semi-corporate demeanor.
  • Min. one-year administrative experience

Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
