Karina is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) and an active member of the American Counseling Association (ACA). She holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University, where she graduated with high distinction. With over 26 years of ministry experience and a strong background in pastoral counseling, Karina brings a compassionate and integrative approach to her clinical practice.

Her mission is to provide holistic care that acknowledges the unique needs of each individual, fostering a sense of acceptance and healing while guiding clients toward restoration and alignment with their God-given purpose. She uses evidence-based therapeutic approaches, integrates faith when aligned with client preferences, and offers services in both English and Spanish.

Karina enjoys working with young adults and adults in all stages of life. She specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with experience in managing stress, anxiety, depression, major life transitions, grief, relationship challenges, parenting, premarital counseling, and women’s mental health issues. Her approach emphasizes building an empathetic and trustworthy therapeutic relationship where clients feel safe to explore their needs and pursue healing. Through her extensive ministry and missionary work, Karina has gained a deep understanding of the role culture plays in shaping an individual’s worldview, enabling her to offer a culturally informed and inclusive perspective in counseling.

Karina firmly believes in the importance of holistic restoration—physical, emotional, and spiritual—and acknowledges that true healing is ultimately found through God’s guidance. She is passionate about serving as a compassionate guide, partnering with clients on their journey toward wholeness with empathy, authenticity, and genuine care.
